A community of AmSAT Teachers + Students
Alexander Technique Iowa (AT-Iowa) is a collective of Alexander Technique teachers. We are all AmSAT-certified teachers working in the Land of the Rolling Prairie.
AmSAT (the American Society for the Alexander Technique) upholds rigorous standards that were established in the mid-twentieth century. Teachers train for at least 1600 hours at an approved AmSAT course with a senior Alexander Technique teacher, and regularly engage in postgraduate continued education.
